Free website SEO check.
Enter your site. We review it by hand and email back a short, plain-English report: what's slowing it down, what's keeping it off Google, and what we'd fix first.
No obligation, no sales call required, no login needed. Just a real developer looking at your website the way a customer in Richmond, Charlottesville, or Roanoke would — and the way Google does.

Four angles on one website
Automated scanners spit out a hundred warnings and leave you to guess which ones matter. We look at your site from four angles and tell you which handful of issues are actually costing you calls.
Technical
The plumbing that decides whether Google can reach your pages and whether visitors wait for them.
- › Page speed and Core Web Vitals on a real phone connection
- › Mobile layout: tap targets, text size, horizontal scroll
- › Crawl and index issues: robots rules, sitemap, noindex mistakes
- › Broken links and dead pages
- › HTTPS set up correctly, no mixed content
On-page
What each page says to Google, and whether it says it clearly enough to rank for anything.
- › Page titles and meta descriptions: missing, duplicated, or generic
- › Heading structure: one clear H1, sensible H2s
- › Thin or duplicate content that gives Google nothing to work with
- › Internal links: can a visitor get from any page to your services and contact?
Local
For a plumber in Lynchburg or a clinic in Fredericksburg, this is where most of the calls come from.
- › Google Business Profile basics: claimed, categories, hours, photos, link to the site
- › NAP consistency: name, address, and phone matching everywhere
- › Location pages for the towns and counties you actually serve
- › LocalBusiness schema so Google knows what and where you are
Conversion
Ranking is pointless if the visitor bounces. We read the site like a customer with a problem and thirty seconds.
- › Is it obvious what you do within the first screen?
- › Is it obvious where you are and who you serve?
- › Is it obvious how to call, text, or book — on a phone, with one thumb?
- › Does the contact form actually deliver? (We test it.)
A short report, not a 40-page PDF
You'll get an email, written by the person who reviewed your site, that fits on a couple of screens. It covers what's working, what isn't, and a prioritized fix list — the three to seven things that would make the biggest difference, in the order we'd do them.
Each item says what the problem is, why it matters for a business like yours, and roughly how much effort it takes to fix. No jargon without an explanation. No score out of 100 that tells you nothing. If your site is in good shape, we'll say that too.
We write it for the owner, not for a developer, because in most small businesses the owner is the one deciding what happens next.
Three ways to use the report
1. Fix it yourself
The report is yours. Hand it to whoever built your site, or work through the easy items on a slow afternoon. Plenty of people do exactly that and we never hear from them again, which is fine.
2. Hire us for the fixes
If you'd rather not touch it, we'll quote the fix list as a one-time project. Because we build websites ourselves, we can change the actual code instead of working around it.
3. Roll it into the care plan
For owners who want the site handled every month — hosting, updates, security, ongoing SEO work, and a plain-English report — the fixes become the first month of the Website + SEO Care Plan.
Honestly? It's how we start conversations.
We're a small Virginia company that builds custom software and does SEO for local businesses. Cold outreach is annoying for everyone. A free, useful look at your website is a better way to meet: you get something you can act on, and we get to show what we notice and how we explain it.
We only pitch if there's something worth fixing. If your site is fast, indexed, and clear, the report will say so and we'll wish you well. If there are real problems, we'll tell you what they'd take to fix and let you decide. Either way, the audit costs you nothing but a minute on the form.
Most of the sites we review belong to contractors, home service companies, restaurants, clinics, and professional firms across Richmond, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Lynchburg, Roanoke, and Hampton Roads. If that sounds like you, you're exactly who this is for. If you're elsewhere in the US, send it anyway — the web works the same everywhere.
